Fiscal POS (ÖKC) integration for Türkiye
In Türkiye, counter sales to consumers are registered on a GİB-approved fiscal device. Your POS must talk to it reliably.
Not legal or tax advice. KOD16 is a technical implementation partner. Legal and tax opinions come from our partner Turkish accountants (mali müşavir) and law firms.
What we deliver
- Device and vendor selection support (EFT-POS ÖKC, Android POS, serial devices)
- Connector for the vendor SDK: local REST, serial/USB (incl. the public GMP-3 pairing protocol) or vendor cloud
- Mapping of items to VAT departments (20 %, 10 %, 1 %)
- Tender handling: cash, bank card, meal cards, split payments
- Idempotent sale flow, timeout recovery, void and refund procedures
- End-of-day X/Z reports and reconciliation with your orders
The canonical sale flow
Most production bugs live in timeouts: never resend a sale blindly. Query the device status with the same key and resume or cancel. Our fiscal POS integration guide explains the pattern.
basket → open sale (idempotency key) → payments (cash / card / meal card)
→ fiscalise (receipt or information slip) → result (receipt no, Z no, VAT totals)
→ persist → optional e-Arşiv / e-FaturaTypical pitfalls we fix
- Card approved but receipt failed, then charged twice
- Wrong VAT department after a menu change
- Returns after the Z report handled as negative sales
- Meal-card payments recorded outside the fiscal sale
Frequently asked questions
Does my POS software need GİB certification?
No. GİB approves the fiscal devices and vendors. Your software integrates with a certified device using the vendor's SDK or protocol.
Which device vendors do you work with?
We work with the SDKs of the major Turkish ÖKC vendors and choose the integration model (local, serial or cloud) with you. Vendor contracts stay between you and the vendor.
Do online orders need a fiscal receipt?
Usually not: orders delivered to a consumer's address are documented with an e-Arşiv invoice. Check your model with the which-document wizard.
